World Cup: Seven out of 10 teams announced; There is a fight in Pakistan regarding selection, these two countries have not announced yet

The ODI World Cup will start in India after 15 days. The 13th edition of the tournament will start on October 5. The final match will be played on 19 November. This time 10 teams will participate in the World Cup. Apart from hosting India, defending champions England, New Zealand, Australia, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, South Africa and Netherlands are scheduled to play. Of these, seven countries have announced their teams for the tournament.

 

Pakistan troubled by defeat in Asia Cup

1992 winner Pakistan has not announced the team yet. There is a ruckus in the PCB after the defeat in the Asia Cup. Under the captaincy of Babar Azam, the team was eliminated in Super-4 itself. Its young fast bowler Naseem Shah got injured and it is not certain that he will play in the World Cup. Apart from him, the injury of Haris Rauf has increased the concern of the team. At the same time, the average performance of all-rounder Shadab Khan has troubled the management. Now it remains to be seen when the Pakistan team will be announced.

 

Sri Lanka and Bangladesh are also worried

Apart from Pakistan, two other Asian teams did not announce their squads. These include Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, which won the World Cup in 1996. The Sri Lankan team is troubled by injuries to many of its players. At the same time, there is a strange atmosphere in Bangladesh due to the retirement and then the return of captain Tamim Iqbal. Sometimes Shakib Al Hasan is seen captaining and sometimes the bet is being played on Liton Das.
