India lost by 209 runs in the final match

In the final of the World Test Championship, the Indian team had to face defeat by a huge margin of 209 runs. In this match, Indian captain Rohit Sharma decided to bowl first after winning the toss and did not include Ravichandran Ashwin in the team. It was only after the toss that many veterans questioned both Rohit's decisions and both these decisions became the reason for India's defeat.

He got his team back in the match by dismissing Ravindra Jadeja in the first innings and Rohit Sharma in the second innings. Australia scored 469 runs in the first innings and 270 runs in the second innings. At the same time, the Indian team was able to score 296 runs in the first innings and 234 runs in the second innings. In the first innings for Australia, left-handed batsman Alex Carey scored 163 and Steve Smith scored 121 runs.
