A thief attacked Saif Ali Khan with a knife in his Mumbai Bandra house. Saif suffered serious spinal injuries in this attack. Saif also suffered injuries in his neck, back and arm. Saif was then taken to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai, where his condition is said to be stable after the operation.

The police are using its network of informers to trace the attacker. According to the police, he quietly entered the house at some time in the night. He attacked both the maid and Saif.

According to the police, the attack took place during an 'attempt to steal' in the apartment in the 'Satguru Sharan' building in Bandra, Mumbai in the early hours of Thursday. The face of the suspected youth is visible in the footage captured at 2.33 pm. He is seen wearing a brown collared T-shirt and a red scarf or 'gamchha' while descending the stairs on the sixth floor of the building.

The staff nurse working in Saif Ali Khan's house has stated to the police on this matter. He said that the attacker first demanded Rs 1 crore from the actor. The complainant of the case, Eliama Philip, said, the attacker first entered the room of Saif-Kareena's younger son Jeh. I got up to see who was there and found that a thin man of short height was coming out from there and moved towards Jeh's bed. When Saif came into the room after making a noise, the thief attacked him too. On the complaint of the maid, the police have registered a case under various sections of the Indian Justice Code including robbery with an attempt to murder and forced entry into the house.

 

Saif was attacked at 2.30 am.

However, these injuries are not that serious. It is not yet clear whether he has been stabbed or he has been injured in a scuffle.
