The news of "Ya Ali" singer Zubin Garg's death shocked everyone. According to reports, Zubin Garg had gone scuba diving on the 19th, a day before his performance at a festival in Singapore, when he met with an accident that resulted in the 52-year-old singer's death.

 

Following his passing, the music industry paid tribute to the singer on social media. On Sunday, Zubin Garg's body was placed at the Arjun Bhogeshwar Barua Sports Complex in Guwahati, where fans, politicians, and celebrities flocked to pay their last respects. Following a second post-mortem, he was cremated with gunshot wounds on Tuesday.

News agency ANI shared a video on its official account, showing Zubin Garg's body being taken from the Sports Complex in Guwahati to the Kamarkuchi crematorium. The video shows a crowd on the road during the procession. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju, Garg's family and friends, along with numerous prominent figures, paid tribute to the singer before his funeral.

 

Jubin Garg was given a full state funeral. The Assam Police acted as hearse bearers, firing a gun salute as his body was carried along the highway to the cremation ground. All vehicular traffic was halted on the route, and a dry day was declared in all areas, including Meghalaya.

 

Fans sang a famous Jubin Garg song.

Saddened by the passing of their favorite singer, Jubin Garg, fans sang one of his most popular songs, "Mayabini," during his last rites. According to reports, Jubin Garg wanted his fans to sing this song when he died, and fans fulfilled his wish.

 

It should be noted that after the first post-mortem, Zubin Garg's body was transported to the Sports Complex in a flower-bedecked ambulance, where it was brought to the crematorium amid a large crowd of fans, where the singer was immersed in the five elements.
