104 companies set to manufacture one lakh PPE kits every day in India

India is taking various measures including lockdown to fight the corona virus. People are being advised by the government to follow the social distance to avoid this virus and use masks while exiting.

At the same time, a senior Health Ministry official has told about the mask that till two months ago there was not a single company making PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) in India, but in the last two months 104 such companies have been prepared which are making PPE kits. Is doing construction.

 

He informed that these companies are preparing one lakh PPE kits every day to the government. PPE kits and N95 masks imported from China have been affected for the past one week. China has currently tightened its export regulations.

 

The official said that companies manufacturing medical equipment in China will first have to register with the NMPA (National Medical Product Administration) here. After this, imported goods will be tested. Then we will be allowed to send that goods to other countries. Due to this, goods coming from China are delayed.

 

He said that China has ordered one crore PPE kits and N95 masks. There are also over 100 domestic companies, which are manufacturing masks. So far, about seven lakh PPE and 33 lakh N95 masks have been supplied by the Central Government.

 

It may be noted that earlier, while giving information on the hospitals of Corona in the country, Union Minister Prakash Javadekar had said that the first case was reported in India on January 30, but when the virus came to know about it in China, PM Modi Had ordered to make preventive preparations.

 

He told that at present there are 723 dedicated corona hospitals in the country, with 1,86,000 isolation beds, 4000 ICU beds and 12,190 ventilators and all these things are prepared at an interval of three months.

 

Let us know that the number of patients infected with Corona virus is increasing continuously throughout the country. According to data released by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, 1684 new cases have been reported in the last 24 hours and 37 people have died. After this, the total number of corona positive cases across the country has risen to 23,077, of which 17,610 are active, 4749 people have recovered or have been discharged from hospital and 718 have died.
