The 12th season of 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' is starting today (28 September). This time due to the coronavirus epidemic, the show will not have an audience. The show team took Big B to London for Convince and notices things by spending a day on the set of its original (UK) version 'Who Wants to Be a Millionaire'. Big B was impressed and agreed to the Hindi version on the condition that the makers make it very similar to the UK version.

In 1995, Amitabh started his company, Amitabh Bachchan Corporation Limited (ABCL). The company achieved a turnover of Rs 65 crore in the first year and had a profit of Rs 15 crore. But, the second-year growth was not good.
In 1996, the company took over the management of the Miss World competition in Bangalore and incurred a loss of around Rs 4 crore. Then there was a rift between Big B and his professional managers. Due to this, the top team had to change. Films like 'Deathdater' made under the company's banner have flopped and the company incurred losses.
Funds stalled, debt-ridden and creditors started abusing
In 1999, the situation came that Amitabh Bachchan did not have the money to pay even salary to his employees. Funds for film production and distribution were stuck. People's trust was starting to rise from the company. The creditors came to Big B's house and even started abusing him.
However, the Bombay High Court stayed the sale of two flats of Wait and Big B. After this Big B mortgaged the wait to Sahara India Finance.
Close to Amitabh started to advise the company to shut down

Kaun Banega Millionaire's Extra Facts
The show was earlier named 'Kaun Banega Lakhpati' and the maximum prize money was proposed at Rs 1 lakh. But the very next month, Rupert Murdoch, chairman of News Corporation, the parent firm of Star TV, directed it to be named 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' and its maximum prize money of Rs 1 crore.
After the immense success of the first season, Amitabh Bachchan was signed for the second season. But, during this time Amitabh fell ill, the show had to stop abruptly. Only 61 episodes out of 85 were shot due to Big B's illness.
Amitabh refused to host the third season of the show. So this season got to Shah Rukh Khan, which started well. But later it flopped due to host change. This was the last season of the show telecasted on Star Plus.
From the fourth season, 'KBC' shifted to Sony TV instead of Star Plus and Amitabh Bachchan returned as host. From here, the show also launched the tagline for each season.
