They recognized the Luhansk and Donetsk provinces of eastern Ukraine as independent countries. Also ordered Russian troops to maintain peace there. His decision is being condemned all around. The NATO chief called it a violation of international agreements. At the same time, America and many European countries have warned them.

 

US President Joe Biden said - will answer soon

The White House said Biden strongly condemned Putin's decision to recognize the "independence" of Ukraine's eastern regions. The US President also told Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that the US, along with its allies, would respond soon.

 

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said that we expected the same from Russia and we are ready to respond immediately. President Biden signed an executive order (EO) on Monday. According to this, no US citizen can make any kind of investment with the people of these areas, nor will any service or import-export be allowed.
