It has been raining heavily in Bhopal since morning. It rained 3 inches from Sunday night till Monday afternoon. The capital has received 9 inches of rain in 48 hours. Similar is the case with Indore. The city has received three and a half inches of rain from Sunday to late Monday night.
The highest rainfall in the state on Monday was recorded in Sausar, where 9 inches of water fell. 8 inches of rain was recorded in Vidisha, 7 inches in Alirajpur, and 6 inches in Pipariya.
Rajasthan: Monsoon trough near Bikaner-Sikar
Heavy rain is expected in the next four days in Pali, Jalore, Barmer, and Jaisalmer the state. The Meteorological Department has attributed this to the monsoon trough line. This low-pressure area is passing through Bikaner, Sikar. Due to this, there is a possibility of good rains in the coming days in the south as well as the northwest part of Rajasthan.
The Meteorological Department said that there may be heavy rain and thundershowers at some places in Tonk, Bundi, Kota, Baran, Sawai Madhopur, Jhalawar district, and adjoining areas on Tuesday.
