25 states of the country are suffering from rain: 7 people died in the last 24 hours in Gujarat, red alert in 6 districts; Rain alert in MP-Maharashtra too

After the onset of monsoon in the country, 25 states are receiving continuous rain. The worst affected is Gujarat. 7 people died in the last 24 hours due to rain and floods here. So far more than 65 people have lost their lives in the state in two days. 13 dams are on high alert. On Monday, 5 to 6 feet of water was flooded in many areas of the capital Ahmedabad. A red alert has been issued in 6 districts including Surat.

 

Heavy rain continues in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan since Tuesday morning. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for 33 districts including Bhopal, Indore, and Jabalpur of Madhya Pradesh. Heavy rain is expected here for the next three days. At the same time, many areas of Bihar, Jharkhand, and Uttar Pradesh are still craving rain. It is expected to rain here after 4 days.

 

Madhya Pradesh: Orange alert in 4 divisions, maximum 9 inches of rain in Sausar

The Meteorological Center issued an orange alert of rain in many areas of the state including in Bhopal, Narmadapuram, Indore, and Shahdol divisions on Tuesday. It has been raining heavily in Bhopal since morning. It rained 3 inches from Sunday night till Monday afternoon. The capital has received 9 inches of rain in 48 hours. Similar is the case with Indore. The city has received three and a half inches of rain from Sunday to late Monday night.

 

The highest rainfall in the state on Monday was recorded in Sausar, where 9 inches of water fell. 8 inches of rain was recorded in Vidisha, 7 inches in Alirajpur, and 6 inches in Pipariya.

 

Rajasthan: Monsoon trough near Bikaner-Sikar

 

Heavy rain is expected in the next four days in Pali, Jalore, Barmer, and Jaisalmer the state. The Meteorological Department has attributed this to the monsoon trough line. This low-pressure area is passing through Bikaner, Sikar. Due to this, there is a possibility of good rains in the coming days in the south as well as the northwest part of Rajasthan.

 

The Meteorological Department said that there may be heavy rain and thundershowers at some places in Tonk, Bundi, Kota, Baran, Sawai Madhopur, Jhalawar district, and adjoining areas on Tuesday.

 

Maharashtra: the Godavari rises in Nashik, and heavy rain in Maharashtra

 

An orange alert has been issued in 4 districts including Ratnagiri of Maharashtra and yellow rain in 8 districts. Heavy rain is expected in these districts on Tuesday. Because of this, the administration has put all the departments and officers on alert as a precautionary measure.

 

Many areas including Mumbai, Nashik, and Gadchiroli have been receiving heavy rains for the last two days. Due to this, other rivers including the Godavari are in spate. Many temples on the banks of the Godavari river have been submerged. Three people are missing in Nashik.

 

Delhi: Light rain forecast for July 13-14

 

Delhi received light to moderate rain for some time on Monday. After which the people of Delhi got a big relief from the humidity and heat. At the same time, the Meteorological Department has predicted light rain on July 13-14. A yellow alert has also been issued for this.

 

The Southwest Monsoon had knocked in Delhi on 30 June. That day, 117.2 mm of rain fell in 24 hours. Since then, the Meteorological Department is continuously predicting the possibility of rain in Delhi-NCR. On July 6, an orange alert was also issued for rain, but the clouds went away without rain. On Monday, people got relief due to rain in Delhi afternoon.

 

No rain in Bihar-UP, people are upset

 

The indifference of the monsoon is creating drought conditions in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. Monsoon had knocked in the last week of June, but after a day or two of rain, the clouds did not return. The people of both states are troubled by the humidity and the scorching sun. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain after 3-4 days.
