T20 World Cup 2022: In a special record in SENA, Virat Kohli left behind Sachin Tendulkar, became the number-1 Asian batsman

Team India has played only two matches in the ICC T20 World Cup and Virat Kohli's bat has run fiercely in both matches. Virat, who scored 82 not out against Pakistan, played an innings of 62 not out against the Netherlands. With this innings, Virat Kohli left behind master blaster Sachin Tendulkar in a special case. This was Virat Kohli's 49th International in SENA (South Africa, England, New Zealand, and Australia). The record for the highest number of the fifties hit by any Asian player in the army has now been recorded in the name of Virat, earlier this record was recorded in the name of Tendulkar.

Tendulkar scored a total of 48 fifties in SENA between 1990 and 2012, while this was Virat Kohli's 49th international fifty in SENA. However, Virat is still a little behind Tendulkar in terms of most international centuries in SENA. Virat has 21 international hundreds recorded in SENA, while Sachin Tendulkar has scored a total of 26 international centuries in SENA.

With the kind of form Virat is in, looks like he will break even Sachin Tendulkar's record for most centuries by an Asian batsman in SENA. In SENA, Ricky Ponting has hit the maximum number of times and Jacques Kallis is at number two. Ponting has scored 103 international fifty in SENA, while Kallis has a total of 102 international fifty in SENA.
