Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the employment fair organized in Maharashtra through video conferencing. He said that today the name of Maharashtra is being added to the campaign of collectively giving appointment letters to the youth of the country in government departments. On the day of Dhanteras, the central government started giving 10 lakh jobs.

PM Modi said today I congratulate the youth who are getting appointment letters. I congratulate CM Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. It is clear from the organization of the employment fair in such a short time that the Maharashtra government is moving strongly in the direction of employing the youth.

 

Financial assistance to 8 crore women

PM Modi said that the government is giving all possible financial assistance to startups, and MSMEs. Equal employment opportunities are being given to Dalits, Adivasis, minorities, and women. In the last 8 years, 8 crore women belonging to self-help groups in villages were given financial assistance of Rs 5.5 lakh crore.
