United Nations Secretary-General Antonia Guterres paid tribute to those killed in the 26/11 terror attacks in Mumbai today. On this occasion, he termed terrorism as a complete evil and said that no reason or excuse can justify it.
UN Secretary-General Guterres pays tribute to the dead at a memorial museum at the Taj Hotel in Mumbai to commemorate the horrific terrorist attack on 26 November 2008. Paying tribute, he said, 'I want to pay tribute to the victims. They are the heroes of our world. I would like to express my deepest condolences to their families, their friends, the people of India, and all those from other parts of the world who lost their lives in Mumbai.
Guterres said terrorism is evil. No reason or excuse or complaint can justify terrorism. Terrorism has no place in the present world. The Mumbai attack was one of the most barbaric terrorist acts in history, in which 166 people lost their lives.
This statement of the UN chief is a strong message for countries that favor terrorism like Pakistan and China that in the eyes of the world, terrorism is only terrorism and nothing else. Pakistan has been advocating terrorism in the name of Kashmir, justifying it.

Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde and Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis also paid tribute to the dead at the 26/11 Mumbai attack memorial museum.
