Due to the wishes of the Uttar Pradesh government, 50 buses that went to Saharanpur with Haryana workers returned. Around 1500 workers in these buses have also returned. The Haryana government's duty was to drop these workers on Saharanu as per the agreed terms and earlier negotiations. From here, these workers used to reach their respective villages in UP Roadways buses.
The Saharanpur administration refused to receive workers from Haryana, using the excuse of police lathicharge there. In fact, like Yamunanagar, the police in UP also lathi-charged the workers. For this reason, the entire administration was engaged in dealing with the workers. It was out of control of Saharanpur administration to handle 1500 more laborers. In such a situation, the buses were brought back to Yamunanagar.
Not only this, the UP administration has also reduced the number of receiving workers. Now it has been said that on Monday only 325 bus workers will be received instead of 500. The UP government has suddenly reduced these quotas. Already 6 thousand workers are staying at the shelter home in Yamunanagar. Now suddenly the local administration had to manage the stay of 1500 workers.
The Haryana government claims that if the state governments give NOC, then all the migrants can be arranged to reach their native states within four to five days.
We will receive one and a half million workers
More than 1 lakh 40 thousand workers of other states have expressed their desire to come to Haryana. Home Minister Anil Vij said, Haryana has given NOC to receive all these laborers. Haryana has no problem. He said that no workers can be sent or received without NOC.
