The exercise to send migrant laborers from Haryana to Bihar will start from Wednesday. According to the guidelines of the Union Home Ministry, the state government has decided to send these workers to Bihar. After registering the workers, the state government wrote a letter to the Railway Ministry, urging them to arrange special labor trains.

A letter was also written on behalf of the Home Secretary of Haryana to the Chief Secretary of Bihar. It was clear in the MHA's directive that workers could be sent or brought from one state to another only when the governments of both states agreed to it. Six trains will now leave for Bihar from different railway stations of Haryana.

A train will not carry more than 1200 passengers. In such a situation, the government has made arrangements to send about 7200 workers from Bihar to their state by Friday through these special labor trains starting from Wednesday. Railways have approved the running of six trains in the first phase from various railway stations in Haryana.

The Haryana government has also deposited the fare in the railway account on Tuesday to bring the migrant laborers to their destination. The Government of Haryana has also informed the Government of Bihar about this. After starting the registration through the portal on Sunday, till Monday evening more than 45 thousand people have registered to go to their home.

Among those who have registered, 80 percent are those who were living in Haryana for many years. In the first phase, about 7200 migrants will leave for Bihar from Wednesday. The Railway Ministry has approved the departure of trains from different cities of Haryana from Wednesday. Usually, 72 passengers are plying in a bogie of the railway, but due to the corona, 50 to 55 passengers in a bogie or 1200 passengers in a train have been allowed to travel.

The Haryana government has also deposited an amount of Rs 45 lakh in the account of Railways. After this process, the Additional Chief Secretary of the Haryana Home Department has written a letter to the Chief Secretary of Bihar informing that trains will run from various railway stations of Haryana, besides Katihar, Muzaffarpur, Bhagalpur and Son areas of Bihar. In which people of Bihar origin will travel who want to return to their homes due to lockdown.
