About 4 lakh cases reduced were found in December compared to November, 5 thousand deaths were also reduced; Recovery rate now 96.1%

The country is witnessing a steady decline in corona cases. Nearly 4 lakh new cases were reported in December as compared to November and deaths also recorded a decline of 5 thousand. In November, a total of 12.33 lakh patients were found in the country. 13.45 patients were completely cured by this and around 15 thousand people died. During this period, 1.27 lakh active cases (under treatment) were reduced.

 

At the same time, the number of patients found infected in December was 7.85 lakh. During this period, 9.48 lakh people were recovered and about 10.8 thousand people died. A decrease of 1.74 lakh was reported in the active case.

 

Talking about the overall recovery rate, it is also increasing continuously. Now the number of patients recovering has reached close to 99 lakhs. In this way, the country's recovery rate is now 96.1%.

 

1.02 crore cases so far in the country

In the last 24 hours, 19 thousand 45 people in the country were found corona infected. 22 thousand 23 people recovered and 244 died. These figures are taken from covid19india.org. So far, 1.02 crore people in the country have been infected. Of these, 2.52 lakh patients are being treated, while 98.81 lakh people have been cured. The number of people who lost their lives to infection has now risen to 1.49 lakh.

The central government has now decided to conduct a dry run of vaccination of Corona throughout the country. On January 2, all states and union territories will be run dry simultaneously. For this, 3 points will be fixed in the capitals.

 

States will be exempted to include remote districts in the process, where it may be difficult to deliver the vaccine. On December 28 and 29, the preparation of machinery for vaccination was tested in two districts each of Punjab, Assam, Andhra Pradesh, and Gujarat.

 

Meanwhile, the Drug Controller General (DCGI) indicated that the vaccine would be available early next year. Because of the rapidly decreasing corona patients in the capital Delhi, the state government has taken a big decision. The number of beds reserved for Covid-19 patients in the capital in 7 government and 108 private hospitals has been reduced. Government hospitals will now have 2140 Covid-19 dedicated beds instead of 4696 beds.

 

The number of patients infected with the new corona strain has reached 25 in the country. All have returned from the UK. The statement issued by the Health Ministry states that all have been kept in isolation.

1. Delhi

 

On Thursday, 574 people were found corona infected. 888 people were recovered and 13 died. So far, 6 lakh 25 thousand 369 people have been infected. Out of these 6 lakh 9 thousand 322 people have been cured. 10 thousand 536 patients have died. There are 5 thousand 511 patients who are undergoing treatment.

 

2. Madhya Pradesh

 

In the last 24 hours, 844 new infections have been identified here. 866 patients recovered and 11 died. There have been 2.41 lakh cases of corona infection so far. Of these, 2.28 lakh patients have been cured and 3606 have died. Now 9354 infected people are under treatment.

 

3. Gujarat

 

On Thursday, 780 people were found corona infected. 916 people were recovered and 4 died. So far, 2 lakh 45 thousand 38 people have been infected. Of these, 2 lakh 30 thousand 993 people have been cured, while 4306 patients have died. 9739 patients are undergoing treatment.

 

4. Rajasthan

 

In the last 24 hours, 698 people were found corona infected. 957 people recovered and 7 died. So far, 3 lakh 8 thousand 243 people have been infected. Of these, 2 lakh 95 thousand 987 people have been cured, while 2696 patients have died. Currently, 9560 patients are undergoing treatment.

 

5. Maharashtra

 

3509 new cases were found here on Thursday. 3612 people recovered and 58 died. So far, 19 lakh 32 thousand 112 people have been infected. Of these, 18 lakh 28 thousand 546 people have been cured, while 49 thousand 521 patients have died. There are 52 thousand 902 patients who are undergoing treatment.
