Of these, 1.6 million were from EU countries. This means about 3 lakh people came from outside Europe. The people of India were in first place among them. The new law makes it easier to hold dual citizenship in Germany. In such a situation, there will be a good opportunity for IT-skilled Indians.

More jobs in IT due to large-scale digitization

Germany needs digitization, which creates job opportunities. There are schools with outdated computers, and workers dependent on fax machines. Germany was ranked 21st out of 28 EU countries in the 2020 EU Digital Economy and Society Index.
