I always feel that the captain should take his place in the top 3 in the team. He (Pant) is someone who is not afraid to play. His game can handle pressure well, can pull the team out of tough situations and such a player can be a great leader. It will be good for Indian cricket if we have an aggressive player like Pant as the captain of the team.
Pant has got captaincy experience very early in his career. He was appointed captain of Delhi's Ranji Trophy team before making his international debut for India. Presently he is the captain of the Delhi Capitals in IPL. He scored his maiden ODI century in the series decider against England in Manchester on Sunday.
