Cricketer Yuvraj Singh was arrested by Hansi (Hisar, Haryana) police on Saturday for making derogatory remarks about scheduled caste society. Yuvraj Singh was interrogated at the Gazetted Officer's Mess of the Police Department in Hisar and was later released on bail as per the directions of the High Court.

On the other hand, complainant Rajat Kalsan has alleged that Yuvraj Singh was given full VIP treatment by Haryana Police. Selfies were taken with him. Juice and snacks were served in the officer's mess.

Rajat said that he has challenged the order of Punjab and Haryana High Court granting interim bail to Yuvraj Singh in the Supreme Court. He will try his best to send a strict message to the celebrities and VIPs who insult them with objectionable words, by sending them to jail.

After interrogation, Hansi police will now present a challan against Yuvraj Singh in the court. After this, Yuvraj Singh will also have to get regular bail from the special court. Yuvraj Singh will have to appear in every special court set up under the Scheduled Castes and Tribes Atrocities Act in Hisar. If proven guilty, he can also be sentenced to 5 years in prison.
