
Once again, schools in Delhi have received bomb threats. Six private schools were threatened through e-mail on Friday. Delhi Fire Service officials and police reached the spot and investigated. The team did not find anything suspicious anywhere. Earlier, such threatening e-mails were also sent to different schools in Delhi. During the investigation, the information given in the e-mail was found to be false.
So far, six private schools have received bomb threats. Bomb threats have been received by South Delhi Public School Defence Colony, Delhi Police Public School Safdarjung, Venkateshwar Global School Rohini, Bhatnagar International School, Cambridge School, and DPS Amar Colony School. All parents in DPS School have been sent a holiday message. This time, the bomb threat has also been sent via e-mail.
It is being told that the e-mail was sent at 12.54 am late at night. The fire department has confirmed receiving the threat through e-mail. According to the fire department, information was obtained from Bhatnagar International School at 4.21 am, Cambridge School at 6.21 am, and DPS Amar Colony School at 6.35 am. As soon as the information was received, fire engines were sent to all the schools. Officials said that many calls are still being received from schools. Police and fire engines along with a bomb squad have reached all the schools and started an investigation.
Mention of parents-teachers meeting in the email
This time, a parents-teachers meeting has also been mentioned in the email sent, after which Delhi Police is also investigating the angle of whether someone has deliberately written this and done mischief by sending an email.
The threat of blowing up the school was also given on 29 November.
Earlier on 29 November, a threat was given to blow up a school in Rohini, Delhi. At 10.57 am, the news of placing a bomb in the school was spread. After which the school was searched. The police did not find anything during the investigation. After completing the investigation, the police declared the news as false.
