Another blow to Arvind Kejriwal from the court in 24 hours, this demand of Delhi CM was also rejected

Arvind Kejriwal, lodged in Tihar Jail, has received another blow from the court. Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court rejected Chief Minister Kejriwal's plea in which he had sought additional time to meet his lawyers in jail.

 

Kejriwal made this demand

Let us tell you that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had sought permission from his lawyers to meet him five times a week in Tihar Jail. At present, according to the jail manual, he is allowed to meet lawyers twice a week.

 

On the petition of Delhi CM, Rouse Avenue Court, while hearing the case on April 5, had reserved its decision. Earlier, the Delhi court had directed Arvind Kejriwal to provide an electric kettle, table, and chair in the jail.

 

Kejriwal is lodged in Tihar jail

Let us inform you that CM Arvind Kejriwal is lodged in Tihar Jail in judicial custody till 15th April. He has been kept in a barrack in Tihar under 24-hour CCTV surveillance. They are allowed to have home-cooked food in jail. For this, the names of the people who bring lunch and dinner from home have also been made available to the jail administration.

 

Only those persons whose names have been provided can bring food for the Chief Minister. The special thing is that Arvind Kejriwal has been taken to Tihar Jail for the third time. Earlier, he had been jailed during the Anna Hazare-led protests and in a defamation case in 2014.
