The temple is situated in front of the famous Gol Chabutra of Madanpura. According to the local people, this temple is quite old. The period of its being closed can be estimated from the fact that a 45-year-old local man says that he has been seeing the temple since childhood.
The temple is open from the east, north, and south sides. On the west side, there is a house of Taj Vyapari adjacent to it. According to the local people, the door on the south side was broken and animals used to go inside.
To protect it, someone installed a door. No one was ready to tell who locked it. Five PAC personnel and two policemen from the local police station have been deployed around the temple. The administration is monitoring the situation.
The house belonged to a Bengali family.
The shape of the temple is that of a Shiva temple. Looking at its outer shape, the shape of its dome looks like that of a Shiva temple. Some elders say that it was the house of a Bengali family, which they later sold to a Muslim trader. Currently, there is a saree shop there and some people also live there. This temple is located in the eastern part of the same house.
The eastern, northern, and southern parts of the temple are open. There is a road in the east-south direction. There is a door in the southern part which is closed. There is a three to four-foot corridor to enter the house through the northern open part. This is the main door of the house. There is a board of Jamal Sons above the door. A house adjacent to the temple has been constructed in the western part.
There are five pillars on the northern side of the corridor from the main door which are the pillars of the ceiling of the corridor. Circular floral shapes have been engraved on the ceiling. The upper part of the pillars also has an ASI shape engraved in the part adjoining the ceiling. The pillars also have the same design on their base, which depicts the architecture of the Shiva temple.
