Attack on corruption: Gehlot government changed 15 IPS late night, SP of eight districts also here and there

Political upheaval continues in Rajasthan. Meanwhile, major changes were also made in the police department. The Gehlot government transferred 15 IPS and 8 SPs late on Monday (June 7). In this list, the name of Sirohi district's SP Himmat Abhilash Tank, who was caught in controversies regarding the case of liquor smuggling, is also included.

According to the information, four transfers in the transfer list in the police department are in the headlines for different reasons. Chief among these is the transfer of Sirohi district's SP Himmat Abhilash Tank, who was accused of colluding with liquor smugglers. It is worth noting that even when SP Himmat Abhilash was a police officer in Jaipur and Jalore, many controversies were involved. He has now been posted as Principal in Police Training Center Kishangarh Ajmer.

 

Those who are accused of corruption, their transfer

It is being said that only those officers who were accused of corruption were transferred. SP Shweta Dhankar, who was included in the list, was accused by the MP Hanuman Beniwal of complicity with the speculative mafia three days ago. He has now been made Deputy Commissioner of Jaipur Traffic Police. Similarly, in Chittorgarh, the CID Crime Branch had caught several consignments of narcotics during the lockdown, in which questions were being raised on the working style of the district police. In such a situation, Chittorgarh SP Deepak Bhargava was removed. He has been made SP in SOG. Rajesh Singh, who disclosed the incident of carrying silver ingots by digging a tunnel in Vaishali Nagar of Jaipur, has now been made the SP of Sawai Madhopur, while the famous IPS Pankaj Chaudhary has also been given posting.

 

IPS Pankaj Chaudhary has this responsibility

Now the state government has given a posting to IPS Pankaj Chaudhary, who was dismissed in the case of two marriages. He has been made Commandant in the State Disaster Response Force. Pankaj Choudhary was dismissed from service by the Union Home Ministry in the BJP government. When he was challenged in CAT, the principal bench had ordered his reinstatement. Therefore, now the state government has given a posting to Chaudhary.
