Union Minister Narayan Rane's son and BJP MLA Nitesh Rane, implicated in an attempt to murder case, has got immediate relief from the Supreme Court. While hearing the case, the Supreme Court has given 10 days to Nitesh Rane from arrest. Apart from this, the court has directed the BJP MLA to surrender before the court and take regular bail.
Let us inform you that a case has been registered against BJP MLA from Maharashtra's Kankavli Nitesh Rane at Kankavli Police Station in Sindhudurg under section 307 (murder attempt) and 120B (criminal conspiracy). Nitesh Rane's anticipatory bail plea was rejected by the sessions court of Sindhudurg district, after which he approached the Bombay High Court seeking anticipatory bail.
What's the matter?
A person named Santosh Parab had filed a case of an attempt to murder against Nitesh Rane. Parab had said in his complaint that while going on his bike, Nitesh hit him with his car. After hitting him, the MLA also tried to kill himself. The complainant says that he had heard the names of the attacker's Gote Sawant and Nitesh Rane.
However, Nitesh Rane has called these allegations baseless. Nitesh Rane's lawyer said that the person who has complained is a Shiv Sena worker. Action is being taken against them at the behest of the state government.
