WC Qualifiers: Asif Khan created a ruckus by raining fours and sixes, made a big record by scoring a century against the USA

There is a clash between UAE and USA in the Super Six of the ICC Qualifier. Batting first, UAE scored a mammoth score of 304 for 4 in the allotted overs. Opener Asif Khan had a strong innings to get UAE here. Asif played the best innings of his ODI career. Also completed 1000 runs in their ODI career.

 

Born in Pakistan, Asif Khan plays for the UAE. Asif's blistering innings against the USA on Thursday. Asif Khan scored 151 runs while remaining unbeaten. Along with this, Asif also completed his 1000 runs in his ODI career. Due to this strong innings, UAE has scored a huge score against the USA. Asif shared a 107-run partnership for the first wicket with Aryansh Sharma.

 

Hit 6 sixes during the innings

Right-handed batsman Asif Khan hit 12 fours and 6 sixes while batting at a strike rate of 104.14. During this, he faced 145 balls. Asif Khan became the first batsman to score 151 runs for UAE. This is also the highest score of Asif's ODI career. Asif was not out till the end.

 

Completed 1000 runs in ODI career

Please tell that Asif Khan has scored 1049 runs in 29 innings of 30 ODIs. These include 3 centuries and 5 half-centuries. Asif played his first match on 5 March 2022 against Oman. It may be noted that UAE and USA's dream of qualifying for the World Cup has remained unfulfilled. She would like to win the remaining matches and go back home with honor.
