Biparjoy Updates: The effect of Cyclone Biparjoy is visible, alert was issued from Maharashtra to Gujarat; many trains canceled

Cyclone Biparjoy is still two days away from making landfall in India, but its effects have already started showing. Because of Biperjoy, several feet of high waves are rising in the sea. At the same time, due to this, it is also raining in the west-south coastal areas.

 

Cyclone Biparjoy will reach India on June 15

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Tuesday that Cyclone Biparjoy is 290 km from Porbandar and 360 km from Jakhau port. The IMD said that Biparjoy would hit Saurashtra and Kutch near Jakhau port by the evening of June 15. The Meteorological Department has described it in the very severe category.

 

Due to Biperjoy, high waves arose in the sea.

At the same time, due to cyclonic storm Biparjoy, high tide was seen on Marine Drive in Mumbai. Here, five youths drowned near Mumbai's Juhu Beach on Monday after being hit by high waves. Three of these youths were rescued and the search is on for two others. Explain that a warning has been issued in the coastal areas of the country regarding Cyclone Biparjoy.

 

Many trains were canceled in Rajasthan due to the storm

The Meteorological Department told that Biparjoy will reach Rajasthan by the 16th. Due to this, North Western Railway (NWR) has canceled some trains. North Western Railway informed that several train services have been canceled or partially canceled because of Cyclone Biparjoy in the Bay of Bengal. There is a possibility of heavy rains in many areas of Rajasthan on June 16-17.

 

NDRF took over

Because of the threat of the storm, the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) has deployed 12 teams, equipped with boats, tree cutters, communication equipment, etc. Along with this, NDRF has kept its 15 teams ready for emergencies.

 

Rain alerts in these states

The Meteorological Department said that due to Biparjoy, there is a possibility of light rain in Delhi, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, and Western Uttar Pradesh on Thursday and Friday. He also said that there is a possibility of cloudy weather and drizzle in the national capital on June 15 and 16.
