BJP's MLA supports proposal against agricultural laws in Kerala Legislative Assembly, party bidding surprise

In Kerala, the BJP's only MLA in the Legislative Assembly of the proposal brought by the P. Vijayan government of the state against the new disputed agricultural laws of the Center under the unprecedented incident in Kerala. Rajagopalan supported. O. Rajagopalan said - Agricultural laws should be withdrawn

 

 

After the session, Rajagopal told reporters, "The resolution was unanimously passed. I gave my opinion regarding some points (in the motion), there was a difference of opinion which I outlined in the House. "He fully supported the motion."

 

 

When Rajagopal's attention was drawn that the proposal demanded the repeal of the three central agricultural laws, he still spoke of supporting the proposal. Rajagopal said, "I supported the proposal and the central government should withdraw all the three agricultural laws." He said he agreed with the general opinion of the House. "Rajagopal said that this is a democratic sentiment.

 

When Rajagopal was told that he was going against the party's stance, he said that this is a democratic system and we need to follow a consensus. However, during the special session, Rajagopal said during the discussion in the House that the new laws that will protect the interests of farmers and middlemen will be avoided. However, later O. Rajagopalan said that the statement that I am against the central agricultural laws is baseless.

 

 

It is worth mentioning that in the special session of the Kerala Assembly on Thursday, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan proposed the proposal which was passed unanimously with the support of the ruling Left Democratic Front (LDF), the opposition Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF), and the BJP.
