Gujarat government's new corona guidelines for festivals, Holika Dahan exemption; Stop playing color

Keeping in mind the increasing cases of the Coronavirus in Gujarat, the state government has released new guidelines for the festival of Holi. In the guidelines, people of the state have been allowed to perform Holika Dahan but a ban on playing Holi has been banned. The Home Department has issued a notification directing the Police Department to organize festivals in the state as per rules. Also, everyone is asked to follow Corona's protocol. The home department of the state has issued a special guideline for the festival of Holi in the wake of the Corona epidemic.

 

In which it is said that people will be able to do Holika Dahan in limited numbers but will not be able to play Holi. While issuing a notification on behalf of the government, the Additional Secretary of the Home Department KK Nirala has instructed the Police Department that the festival of Holi will be celebrated in the state for two days (28 and 29 March). In such a situation, the police will have to monitor that there is a limited number of Holika Dahan at all places.

 

There will be complete restriction on playing color and applying gulal

The Home Department has been permitted to celebrate Holika Dahan, but all have to follow the Corona Guideline. Along with this, it has been told in the notification that there will be a complete ban on people playing colors and wearing gulal on the occasion of Holi in the whole state. Also, people do not go out to play color nor gather a crowd and organize an event somewhere. At the same time, the police have been asked to stop celebrating any such programs and social functions. Now the Home Department has issued directions to all the Superintendents of Police and Police Stations of the state and have been instructed to follow the Corona Guideline during the Holi festival.

 

Night curfew in four cities

Let us tell you that there is a night curfew in four cities of Gujarat, Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara, and Rajkot. In a statement issued by the Gujarat government, the state government has decided to impose a curfew from 10 am to 6 am because of the increase in the Corona case, which will remain in force till 31 March.

 

Lockdown on seven cities of MP on Sunday

Concerned over the fast-growing cases of coronavirus infection in Madhya Pradesh, apart from Gujarat, the state government has decided to implement the lockdown on Sunday in four more districts Betul, Chhindwara, Ratlam, and Khargone. At the same time, a decision has already been taken to implement the lockdown every Sunday in Indore, Bhopal, and Jabalpur of the state. With this, there will be a lockdown in seven cities of the state starting at 10 pm on Saturday and at 6 am on Monday.
