The Bombay High Court has refused to hear an urgent hearing for actress Kangana Ranaut. In which an appeal was made to the Indian passport authorities to renew the passport. This passport is going to expire in September 2021 and Kangana has to go to Hungary for the shooting of one of her films. The High Court says that the application is unclear and Kangana has not shown promptness to give all the details, besides that she has also not added the Passport Authority of India (PAI) as a party.

court-ordered

Kangana has been allowed by the HC to rectify the application and also add authority to it. The date of June 25 has been given for hearing on the application. Let us inform that during the hearing of Kangana's application, the division bench of Justices Prasanna Varle and Surendra Tawde was told by advocate Rizwan Merchant that due to an order of the Passport Authority, all the information could not be given in the application. After this, the court had asked Kangana's lawyer to show the authority's refusal order.

The lawyer told the reason

On seeking the court's refusal order, Kangana's lawyer told that she does not have the objection of the passport authority in writing as the actress was verbally told to bring an order from the High Court. Let us inform you that Kangana and her sister Rangoli Chandel had gone to the High Court in October 2020 with an appeal to quash the FIR lodged by the Bandra Police Station.

Munawwar Ali Sayyed's allegation on Kangana

The FIR was registered after the magistrate ordered an inquiry on the allegations of Munawwar Ali Sayyed. Munawar, a resident of Bandra, had alleged that Kangana and Rangoli were trying to spread communal disharmony through statements and posts on Twitter.
