The doors of Dwarkadhish opened for cows at midnight: the owner had sought a vow to cure them of lumpy virus

This is probably the first time in the history of Lord Krishna's city 'Dwarka' when the doors of the Dwarkadhish temple were opened at midnight. Yes, something similar happened here on Wednesday night. The doors of the temple were not opened for any VIPs but for 25 cows. These cows had reached Dwarka from Kutch after traveling 450 km on foot with their owner.

first, know why this happened

25 cows of Mahadev Desai's Gaushala living in Kutch had become infected with the Lumpy virus about two months ago. During this, the process of death of cows due to the lumpy virus was going on all over Saurashtra. Meanwhile, Mahadev had sought a vow from Lord Dwarkadhish that if his cows get cured then he will come to visit you with these cows.

The temple was opened at midnight so that people do not have trouble

The biggest problem for the temple administration was regarding the entry of cows into the temple. Because there is a crowd of thousands of devotees throughout the day. In such a situation, the arrangement of the temple would have deteriorated due to the arrival of cows. That's why it was decided that the temple should be opened at midnight. It was also thought that Lord Krishna was a devotee of cows only, so he can give darshan to them even at night. In this way, the doors of the temple were opened after 12 o'clock at the night.

After reaching Dwarka, the cows first visited Lord Dwarkadhish and also circumambulated the temple. Even at this time, many people were present on the temple premises to welcome the cows. Apart from the Prasad of the Lord, the priests of the temple had also arranged fodder and water for them.

Cows got cured, and the virus did not spread to other cows too

Mahadev says that leaving everything on Lord Dwarkadhish, I started treating cows. After a few days, the cows started getting better. After about 20 days, all 25 cows became completely healthy. Not only this, the Lumpy virus infection did not spread to other cows in the gaushala as well. After his complete recovery, I took him and left for Dwarka from Kutch on foot.
