Boney Kapoor: Boney Kapoor met CM Yogi, the film producer's company will build a 'Film City'

Film producer Boney Kapoor has met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Boney Kapoor posted a picture on Instagram in which he presented a bouquet to the CM. Sharing the picture, Boney Kapoor wrote, 'Had a fruitful meeting with the Honorable Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath ji.'

 

Boney Kapoor's company submitted the plan.

 

Officials said that recently, Boney Kapoor's company, Bayview Projects LLP also submitted a detailed layout plan of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's dream project 'International Film City' to the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA).

 

According to the press note issued by YEIDA, YEIDA will now review the plan and after approval, the work of the film city will start.

 

Film city to be built in Sector-21

 

There is a plan to build an International Film City on more than 1,000 acres of land in Sector-21 along the Yamuna Expressway. Its first phase will start on 230 acres of land, costing around Rs 1,510 crore.

 

CEO Arun Veer Singh said that Boney Kapoor's company has placed the highest bid for this project. They have been approved with an offer of 18 percent revenue share.

 

Work will be done in three phases.

This project will be completed in three phases in the next eight years. In the first phase, construction will be done on 230 acres. After this, work will be done on the remaining 770 acres in Phases 2 and 3.

 

First 155 acres will be used to build things like film studios, sound stages, post-production units and a film institute. Apart from this, 75 acres will be developed as offices and entertainment complexes.
