Punjabi actor and singer Amy Virk wrote a post for the flood-affected on Instagram and offered help. He wrote, 'Our hearts are broken to see the devastation caused by the floods in Punjab. I am completely broken to see my people without a roof. In our small effort to bring comfort and stability, we are adopting 200 houses to help those who have lost everything. It's not just about shelter - it's about giving hope, dignity and the strength to start again.'
Sanjay Dutt also promised help
Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt wrote a note on X, expressing his solidarity with the affected people. He said, 'The devastation caused by the floods in Punjab is really heartbreaking. I am sending strength and prayers to all those affected. I will help in every possible way. May Babaji bless and protect everyone in Punjab.'
Himanshi Khurana adopts 10 houses
Punjabi actress-singer Himanshi Khurana also joined the relief work. She promised to help in the rehabilitation of 10 families. Sharing a post on Instagram, she wrote, 'Today every Punjabi's heart is crying seeing such a condition of Punjab. We will make our Punjab like before. I will contribute to help in the rehabilitation of 10 families in flood-affected areas according to my capacity. In this devastating flood situation, we all need to come together and find a solution.
