Bulldozer model also ran in Gujarat, property belonging to accused of Ram Navami violence demolished

The bulldozer model of Uttar Pradesh is now being implemented in Gujarat as well. In the violence on Ram Navami in Khambhat, the properties of the accused have been demolished by running a bulldozer. On behalf of the district administration, the encroached properties by the accused involved in the violence are being demolished through bulldozers.

 

On the day of Ram Navami, communal clashes broke out in Gujarat's Himmatnagar and Anand districts, which police had to use tear gas shells to control. Nine people who created riots have been arrested by the police. According to the police, all the accused were brought from outside Gujarat and they were assured of money and legal aid if caught.

 

According to the police, the accused had planned to throw stones at the Ram Navami procession from inside the graveyard so that they would not be short of stones.
