The datesheet of the remaining exams of the 10th and 12th class of CBSE board is expected to be released today i.e. on May 18, 2020. Union Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' gave information in this regard by tweeting on Saturday. It was earlier reported that the datesheet would be released on Saturday, May 16, 2020, by 5 pm only. He was then adjourned.
Exams will be held from July 1 to 15
On May 8, Union Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' had conveyed through a video message that the CBSE board 10th and 12th class examinations would be held from July 1 to 15, 2020.
29 core subjects will be tested
He had made it clear that only 29 main subjects will be exam and 10th class examination will be done only in North East Delhi. In February, Class 10 examination was not conducted due to riots in North East Delhi. In the rest of the country, the main subjects of class 10 were tested. Due to this, there will no longer be a Class 10 examination in the entire country. Only in North East Delhi. In North East Delhi too, only 6 main subjects of 10th class will be tested.
There will be a total of 23 main subjects exams for class 12th. Out of these, 12 main subjects will be exam for the entire country and 11 additional subjects will be for North East Delhi students.
Exams postponed due to lockdown
The coronavirus epidemic has resulted in a nationwide lockdown. Schools, colleges, universities and other educational institutions are closed across the country due to the lockdown.
