On the one hand, it cannot even support the aggressive actions of Russia and on the other hand, it does not want to spoil relations with the US coalition by going against Ukraine. India's friendship with Russia seems to be going down in the cold war era. Foreign Ministry officials say that Russia is a reliable and tried-and-tested partner.

Foreign policy experts, referring to the Corona crisis last year, said that when India's situation was bad due to the epidemic, Russia extended a helping hand before America. India did not take any side even in 2014 when Russia annexed Crimea.
