Especially during the ongoing rivalry between China and America, Russia has stood by. In such a situation, India does not want to keep aside its most important friend of Asia. Apart from this, Pakistan has also been looking to move closer to Russia for many years. This is also one of the reasons why India is avoiding speaking on this issue.
