The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has showered money on the Indian team that won the ICC Champions Trophy. The board has announced a cash prize of Rs 58 crore for Team India. India won the title by defeating New Zealand by four wickets in the final of the Champions Trophy 2025. This was India's second consecutive ICC tournament title. Earlier in 2024, Team India won the T20 World Cup.

Apart from the winner, the runner-up New Zealand team got 1.12 million dollars (about 9.72 crores rupees), while both the teams that were eliminated in the semi-finals, Australia and South Africa, got 56000 dollars (4.86 crores rupees).
