ISRO said that ISTRAC (ISRO Telemetry, Tracking, and Command Network) successfully carried out perigee firing. After which the spacecraft started its journey to the moon. The next step is the moon. On August 5, 2023, the Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft will enter the lunar orbit. After this, till August 16, the spacecraft will revolve around the moon's orbit. The lander will separate from the propulsion module on August 17, 100 km above the lunar surface. Chandrayaan-3 is to land on the lunar surface on August 23 at 5.47 pm.

Chandrayaan-3 will land on the south pole of the moon

ISRO launched its ambitious plan Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft on July 14 at 2.35 pm from the Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh. Chandrayaan-3 has Lander, Rover, and Propulsion Module. The lander and rover will land on the south pole of the moon and conduct experiments there for 14 days. Through this mission, ISRO will find out how earthquakes occur on the lunar surface as well as study the lunar soil.
