The Finance Minister had told in the interim budget speech presented on February 1 that 1.4 crore youth have been trained in the country under the Skill India Mission. Also, 54 lakh have been upskilled or re-skilled. Mudra Yojana loans worth Rs 43 crore were given to young entrepreneurs under the PM Mudra Yojana. 3000 new ITI have been built in the country. Along with this, seven IITs, 16 IIITs, seven IIMs, 15 AIIMS, and 390 universities have been built in the country. However, opposition parties have always accused the government of ignoring the youth.
