According to the earlier agreement, military exercises cannot take place near the LAC. China's Defense Ministry spokesman Senior Colonel Tan Kefi said, "We oppose any form of third party interference on the border issue between China and India." Said, both countries are trying to resolve the border issue between China and India through effective dialogue. This effort is being done based on agreements signed between the two countries in 1993 and 1996.
