After the India-China conflict, mobile towers will be installed near the LAC for better connectivity

The government has decided to install more mobile towers along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Arunachal Pradesh amid the growing standoff with China. This information was given by a senior officer of the Tawang district. It aims to improve connectivity in the region. This step taken by the government is being considered very important after the clash between Indian and Chinese soldiers in the Tawang sector on December 9.

Improvement in BSNL and Bharti Airtel connectivity

According to Tawang Deputy Commissioner KN Damo, BSNL and Bharti Airtel will set up 23 new mobile towers to improve connectivity. The existing towers are not able to meet the requirements there. This is causing problems not only for the security forces but also for the civilians living on the border. He said that earlier there were no mobile networks in the border areas, but now the situation has changed.

All preparations completed for the installation of new towers

Defense areas have been given priority in the installation of towers. However, civilian areas like Mago, Chuna, and Nilia (near Gemithang) have also not been ignored. Damo said the district administration had requested the installation of 43 new towers. All preparations have been completed for the installation of new towers, but this work is getting hampered in the winter season. Let us tell you that it was already snowing in the hilly areas of the district, while the city received snowfall for the first time on Sunday night and the temperature reached minus three degrees Celsius.
