China: Now coronavirus also found in dragon fruit, many supermarkets closed

The Omicron variant of Corona has come in front of the world this time being far more dangerous. It has engulfed almost all the countries. Of all the variants that have come to the fore, no evidence of corona infection has been found in any of the food items, but in the meantime, news has come that the coronavirus has also been found in dragon fruit in China. These dragon fruits come from Vietnam. Many supermarkets in China have been closed after the news surfaced.

 

 

According to reports, the coronavirus has been confirmed in the examination of fruits in nine cities of Zhejiang and Jiangxi provinces of China. After this, fruit buyers have also been ordered to be quarantined. Apart from this, the investigation of food items coming from abroad has also been started.

 

 

Ban on import of dragon fruit

After confirmation of the coronavirus in dragon fruit, China has banned the import of dragon fruit from Vietnam till 26 January. Coronavirus was confirmed to be found in dragon fruit in China last week. Significantly, after increasing cases of coronavirus in Xi'an city of China, there is already a lockdown. After this, a lockdown has been imposed in Yuzhu city.
