Another team of US lawmakers is about to visit Taiwan amid tensions with China. Earlier in August, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, the lower house of the US Parliament, came.

 

China had warned America during that time that Pelosi should cancel his visit, otherwise the result would not be correct. However, the US did not listen to China and Pelosi arrived in Taipei on 2 August.

China does not like America to do this, so in anger, it increased its military exercises around Taiwan so that it can show the world how powerful it is. It is known that on Thursday, an eight-member bipartisan delegation is scheduled to meet Taiwan's President Tsai-Ing-wen.

It is known that recently the US approved the sale of weapons worth about $ 1.1 billion to Taiwan. Stephanie is one of the few lawmakers who introduced the bill. This is similar to a bill under which the US provided aid to Ukraine.

Pelosi is a high-level US official who has visited Taiwan in the past 25 years. After his visit, China fired shells after the border with Taiwan and also sent its warships into the Taiwan Strait.

 

China considers Taiwan as its part and does not like anyone else's interference in the affairs between them.
