Gates said in his blog that India gives him hope for the future. It is about to become the most populous country in the world, which means that you cannot solve most of the problems there without solving them on a large scale and yet, India has proved that it can deal with big challenges. . The country eliminated polio, reduced HIV transmission, reduced poverty, decreased infant mortality and increased access to hygiene and financial services.

When the rotavirus vaccine, which prevents the virus that causes many deadly cases of diarrhea, was very expensive to reach every child, India itself decided to create a vaccine.

 

India worked with experts and Funders (including Gates Foundation) to create a factory to distribute vaccines and create massive distribution channels. Gates said that by 2021, 83 percent of children of 1 year were vaccinated against rotavirus and these low-cost vaccines are now being used in other countries around the world.

 

Bill Gates will visit India next week

In his blog, Gates also informed that he is coming to India next week to see the work being done by innovators and objectives. He said that some big things are being worked on that will help the world to reduce the effects of climate change, such as Breakthrough Energy Fellow Vidyut Mohan and his team convert the waste into biofuels and fertilizers in distance agricultural communities by Vidyut Mohan and his team Work being done.
