There were 7636 deaths from Corona between 1 September-30 October 2021 in Malaysia, with a population of about 30 million. Of these, 2159 were such that it had been 14 days since both the doses were administered. The surprising thing is that of these 1573 i.e. 72.8% were those who got the Sinovac vaccine manufactured in China. After the single dose of Pfizer, there were 550 deaths (25.5%) from corona and 36 deaths (1.7%) from corona after the full dose of AstraZeneca.
Covishield based on AstraZeneca's formula is being used in India. Out of 7636 patients who lost their lives in Malaysia, 4076 did not get the vaccine. The second dose was yet to be given in 1401. 75% of those who died after both doses were above 60 years of age. 94% were those who had more than one disease. The Ministry of Health of Malaysia itself has confirmed these figures. Let us inform you that China has given the corona vaccine to 113 countries of all four regions (Asia Pacific, Europe, Latin America, Africa).
India's Vaccine Safe; Only 0.4% who lost their lives from corona after both doses
According to the ICMR study, only 0.4% of those infected with corona have died after getting the vaccine. This conclusion was made by sequencing the genome of 677 Covid patients. Even after getting the vaccine, 10 percent of the people had to be hospitalized. The delta variant was found in 86 percent of these patients.
Sinovac has given 76 crore doses to 43 countries
China's major corona vaccine manufacturers include Sinopharma and Sinovac.
Sinovac is ahead in selling vaccines. Gave 76 crore doses to 43 countries.
Sinopharm is ahead in vaccine donation. Vaccines were sent to 76 countries.
Out of the 76 crore doses sold by Sinovac, the highest 39.45 crore doses were given to the Asia Pacific region.
Latin America (23.01 million) is second, Europe (10.72 million) third, and Africa (2.87 million) fourth in getting the vaccine from China.
WHO approved Sinovac in June?
In Malaysia, 10.11 per 100,000 people got infected even after both doses were administered the Sinovac vaccine. In Pfizer's case, this ratio remained at 3.47. According to experts, there is no concrete reason behind this. It is being said that Sinovac was planted to more population and it was used from the beginning, hence its cases are more. It is worth mentioning that the WHO approved the Sinovac vaccine for emergency use on 1 June 2021.
Malaysia administered both doses to more than 55% of the population in 7 months
In Malaysia, vaccination started on 24 February 2021 and as of 17 September 2021, 55.5% of the population has been given both doses and 66.6% of the population has been given single doses. Vaccines from Pfizer, AstraZeneca, and Sinovac were administered here. Sinovac was installed in the earliest of these. This was also the highest dose.
Let us tell you that more than 110 crore doses have been applied in India. These include 74.81 crores single and 35.96 crore double doses. Among those who got vaccinated, 49.41 crore people are in the age group of 18-44 years and 31.60 crore people are above 45 years. On Thursday, more than 38 lakh doses were administered in the country.
