KL Rahul was adjudged the best fielder of the match against England. Rahul left Ishan Kishan and Mohammad Siraj behind in this race. Fielding coach T Dilip called the entire team outside the pavilion to announce the name of the winner. KL Rahul's name and jersey were shown through a light show at the Ekana Stadium.

The entire team expressed happiness over KL Rahul becoming the winner and Shreyas Iyer presented the medal for the best fielder to the wicketkeeper. Let us tell you that KL Rahul took one catch and one stumping in the match. He caught Moeen Ali (15) off Shami's ball. Then Chris Woakes (10) was stumped out on Jadeja's ball.

India's one-sided victory

The Indian team defeated defending champion England by 100 runs at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow. India batted first and scored 229 runs losing 9 wickets in 50 overs. In response, the England team was all out for 129 runs in 34.5 overs. India registered its sixth win in six consecutive matches and secured the top position in the points table. At the same time, this was England's fifth defeat in six matches and they are in last place.
