Janmashtami 2024: CM Yogi will inaugurate the grand festival, and Brijbhoomi will get the gift of projects worth Rs 583 crore

Preparations for the 5251st Sri Krishna Janmashtami are in full swing in the pilgrimage town of Mathura. The Maha Mahotsav will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath by flying a balloon in Mathura on August 25. After arriving here, the CM will inaugurate 137 projects worth Rs 583 crore.

 

This will mainly include the inauguration of the Barsana ropeway. After resting on the night of the 25th, he will leave from here after visiting the birthplace on Janmashtami on the 26th. With this, cultural programs will be started on 5 big stages, 19 small stages, and 20 main routes in Braj Mandal.

 

Hema Malini will present a dance drama

 

MP Hema Malini will present the Yashoda Krishna dance drama in front of the CM and other devotees at the Panchjanya Auditorium on August 25. A group of artists from Mumbai will also accompany her. This presentation of Hema Malini will be of about 40 minutes.

 

Kanhaiya's voice, Dr. Yasmin's dance magic

The magic of Kanhaiya Mittal's voice will spread during the birth anniversary celebrations. The tinkling of the anklets of renowned Kathak dancer Dr. Yasmin Singh will also be heard. Apart from this, Braj artists will perform their art on 19 small stages in Mathura, Vrindavan, and other places of Braj and receive applause.
