CNG Price Hike: Triple inflation of inflation on the people of Delhi, increased prices of CNG along with petrol and diesel

Lakhs of drivers of Delhi-NCR have suffered a triple blow of inflation on Monday. While oil marketing companies have increased the prices of petrol and diesel by 40-40 paise per liter respectively, Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) has also increased the price of CNG per kg from Monday. According to IGL, the price of CNG has been increased by Rs 2 50 paise per kg on Monday morning, after which the price of 1 kg of CNG in Delhi has gone up to Rs 64 11 paise per liter. Earlier, the price of CNG was Rs 60 81 paise per kg and now the price has increased to Rs 64.11. IGL attributed the rise in gas prices to global gas prices.

 

The new prices have come into effect from Monday morning. This is the seventh increase in CNG prices during the last one month and overall rates have increased by about Rs 7 per kg during this period. This increase in the prices of CNG and PNG is due to the jump in gas prices globally.

 

Earlier on Friday last week, the price of CNG was increased by 80 paise per kg in Delhi only, while the price of piped natural gas in Gautam Buddha Nagar, Ghaziabad and Delhi has been increased by Rs 5 85 paise per kg.

 

Petrol and diesel prices increased on Monday too

 

Oil marketing companies have again increased the prices of petrol and diesel in the national capital Delhi on Monday. 103 and 81 paise, while diesel is selling at Rs 95 7 paise per litre.

 

Currently, the price of CNG in Delhi has gone up to Rs 64.11, while in Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad, the price of CNG is Rs 63.38 per kg. Also, it is available at Rs.69.17 a kg in Gurugram. The price of CNG varies from city to city.
