The meeting called by the AAP convenor is also important because questions are being raised continuously about the functioning of the MLAs of Punjab. AAP has lost power in Delhi. After the defeat of the Aam Aadmi Party in Delhi, Congress has claimed to change the political equation in Punjab. There are talks of AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal now trying to become the Chief Minister of Punjab. At the same time, senior Congress leaders are asking Punjab to gear up to prepare for mid-term elections.

Leader of Opposition in Punjab Assembly and senior Congress leader Pratap Singh Bajwa has said that after the crushing defeat in Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal will now go to Punjab, where he will try to become the Chief Minister of the state.
