The Congress has tried to corner the BJP central government over the recent death of 18 children in Uzbekistan. Congress leader Jairam Ramesh said that Made in India cough syrup is proving fatal. Ramesh tweeted, 'Earlier 70 children died in Gambia and now this has happened in Uzbekistan. The Modi government should take strict action against these people before boasting about India. After these attacks of Jairam Ramesh, BJP leader Amit Malviya has responded to the Congress.

Malviya said – this is shameful

Responding to Jairam's tweet, BJP leader Amit Malviya said that the death of children in Gambia has nothing to do with the consumption of cough syrup made in India. This has been clarified by both the Gambian authorities and the DCGI. He said that the Congress has become so blind in its hatred for Modi that it continues to mock India and its entrepreneurial spirit which is shameful.
