The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has started tightening the legal noose against Congress leaders in the National Herald case. Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi have been questioned by the ED for hours. On its counter, Congress is preparing to fight a long battle against the central government.
After the protest march taken out in protest against inflation in Delhi on Friday, a strategy is being made to hold such demonstrations in every state, so that inflation, unemployment, poverty, and corruption can be made a big issue among the people.
Congress is going to take out pad yatra from 9 to 15 August this month. In every district, Congressmen will take out a walk of 75 km. After one and a half months, the Bharat Jodo Pad Yatra will be taken out by the Congress leaders across the country from October 2. Through this also an attempt will be made to surround the central government on the issue of inflation and unemployment.
By 2024, successive programs will be decided one after the other by Congress, so that it can be easy to create an atmosphere against the government. For this, big Congress leaders from across the country including Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot, and Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel are being fielded.
Congress is out of power for the first time in 8 years, now street struggle
Congress is out of power for more than eight years for the first time since the country's independence. Congress has not been able to make its mark even as a strong opposition. State Congress is losing one after the other. It is limited to Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh only. Whereas Jharkhand and Tamil Nadu are involved in the coalition government. All the young and mass-based leaders are leaving the party, due to which the Congress is going through a difficult phase.
Meanwhile, Congress President Sonia Gandhi and her son Rahul Gandhi have been accused of corruption in the National Herald case. Which is being probed by ED. This has heated the political atmosphere in the country. From Congress, leaders to workers took to the streets for the first time to defend Rahul and Sonia. Congress veterans kept camping in Delhi. Continuing the same episode, on Friday, Congress leaders were seen on the streets across the country on the issue of inflation.
Congressmen unite for the first time for Sonia-Rahul
There is a rift between Congress in every state. There is hardly any state where there is no factionalism within the Congress, but in the name of Sonia-Rahul Gandhi, opposing leaders of each other are forgetting factionalism and coming on one platform, so that the political message does not go wrong.
Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot in Rajasthan, Bhupesh Baghel, and TS Singh Deo in Chhattisgarh seem to be united on this issue. Similarly, in all the states including Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand, Congressmen are supporting each other forgetting mutual opposition for Sonia-Rahul.
Congress leaders protested by wearing black clothes
On Friday, in protest against inflation, activists to leaders were seen in black clothes. All Congress leaders including Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, and Priyanka Gandhi were seen in black clothes. Priyanka Gandhi sat in the middle of the streets in a black dress.
Focus on the elections of 2022, 2023, and 2024 through inflation
Assembly elections will be held in Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu, and Kashmir after four months. After that in 2023 assembly elections will be held in Karnataka, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh. Senior party leaders say that after laying hands on Rahul Gandhi, the Congress is now left with no other option but to fight.
Naturally, at present, the public is not going to join Congress, due to which Congress is preparing to go to the public and play the emotional card. For this, preparations are also being made to make a long struggle from the Congress side, so that the Congress can get fertilizer and water at the grassroots level. Along with this, inflation, and unemployment, it can also help in fighting the election war of 2022, 2023, and 2024.
'Congress will take emotional advantage of ED's action'
Senior journalist Rashid Kidwai says, 'The political culture of the country is that if the allegations against a politician are proved, he is put on the sidelines. Like Lalu Yadav, Om Prakash Chautala, Madhu Koda, Sukhram. Some leaders were accused, but not proven. In such a situation, he got new energy politically. He returned to power. For example Indira Gandhi, Shibu Soren, Karunanidhi and Jayalalithaa.
If the Modi government has put its hands on Rahul and Sonia Gandhi, then it will have to be taken to the logical end. Failure to do so will harm the government. It is also certain that Congress will take advantage of the ED's action by roaming around the country emotionally. Along with this, issues like inflation, unemployment, and poverty in the country will also be raised prominently, so that Congress can put its point against the Center in the public properly.
'The hand of law has reached the Gandhi family
Senior journalist Pradeep Singh says, “From the very beginning, the Gandhi family considered themselves above the law. Due to this, the National Herald made a mistake in the case, but the hands of the law are long. The hand of law has reached the Gandhi family. If the matter was of Income Tax, then a person could have survived for one time, but this matter is of ED. It is a criminal offense, in which the Gandhi family can also go to jail.
Since going to jail, there is no sympathy from the public in the matter of corruption. There are many examples in the country like Lalu Yadav, Om Prakash Chautala, Sukhram, and Madhu Koda when the charges of corruption are proved, whose political journey ended. Protesting against inflation is only an excuse for Congress. In the last eight years, why didn't Congress, as an opposition, perform such a dharna, which it is doing now?
