Congress Vs BJP: Congress criticized PM Modi's speech in Parliament, saying- only talked about the past, nothing new.

Congress Lok Sabha Whip Manickam Tagore on Tuesday criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi's speech in Parliament. He said that the Prime Minister in his address focused especially on the problems of the past. Tagore also said that the speech of Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi was 'visionary'.

 

Manickam Tagore said, "We were thinking that after the visionary statement of Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi about the future development of India and making India a production hub, the Prime Minister will talk in the same direction. But he talked about the past only. His problem is that he lives in the past and speaks about the future. He said, the Leader of the Opposition talked about the future and the Prime Minister talked about the past.

 

Will investigate the veracity of PM Modi's claims: Manickam Tagore

The Congress MP also said that the party will investigate the veracity of the claims made by PM Modi that the government has saved money and benefited people through various schemes. He said, "We do not know where these figures come from." If there is any data, if any agency has given details...no one should talk nonsense (without any basis). We will check its veracity in Parliament.

 

Did not answer Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav's questions: KC Venugopal

 

Meanwhile, Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal said that Prime Minister Modi did not answer any of the questions raised by Rahul Gandhi and (Samajwadi Party President) Akhilesh Yadav in their speeches on February 3. He said, the Prime Minister did not answer any of the questions raised by Rahul Gandhi and other opposition leaders. Akhilesh Yadav gave a very good speech, but the Prime Minister did not say anything on it. These are the same old things, which we have been hearing for many years, there is nothing.

 

False allegations against Sonia Gandhi: Rajiv Shukla

 

Congress MP Rajiv Shukla reacted to the Prime Minister's comment on Sonia Gandhi. He said, the allegations against Sonia Gandhi are false, Priyanka Gandhi also clarified it. She respects the President and she did not say anything like this. Lies are being spread. Unfortunately, the Prime Minister is also repeating the same thing. Is this a speech, abusing the Gandhi family?
