However, many controversies have also started regarding this move of the company. Lok Sabha member Karti Chidambaram has said that this is absolutely absurd service. Goyal said – I was starting to feel that Zomato's average delivery time of 30 minutes is very slow. It will soon go out of business. If we don't change it then someone will do this work. The only way to stay in the tech industry is to innovate and grow. So now we have come up with our 10 minute food delivery offer - Zomato Insta.

Goyal said the promise of quicker deliveries will depend on a network of large finishing stations, which will be located close to areas with high demand customers. The company will also rely heavily on dish-level demand prediction algorithms and in-station robotics to ensure this. This will ensure that the food is fresh and hot when selected by the delivery partner.

Goyal also told on social media that his 10 minute delivery service will be as safe as 30 minute delivery service. All delivery boys will be given training on road safety. They will also be given road safety and life insurance.

He clearly said that by keeping the delivery time of 10 minutes, the life of the delivery boy would also be in danger.

Actor and writer Suhail Seth wrote on social media that the 10-minute delivery offer from Zomato is dangerous and unnecessary. This can increase the risk to both the rider and the people on the road. Rajya Sabha MP Priyanka Chaturvedi also raised the issue of safety of delivery agents. He wrote that this pressure can be dangerous. People around the world will not be happy with the 10-minute delivery.
